Davies will set the festival in motion with a much-loved work, Mass in D Op 86 &#8211; Dvorak, performed in its original version for choir and organ.Elgar&#8217;s splendid setting of Psalm 48 will be the other main work in a programme which will also include music by Monteverdi and Palestrina as well as settings by Welsh composers, Meirion Wynn Jones, Eric Jones, and T.Hopkin Evans.
