Most are involved with choral music on a professional basis &#8211; many being soloists in their own right, cathedral choristers, advanced music students or holding music administration posts. All will have had choral experience at the highest level.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.johnsdaviessingers.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/Messiah-28-July-2009-003.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[2046]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1911\" src=\"https:\/\/www.johnsdaviessingers.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/Messiah-28-July-2009-003-900x600.jpg\" alt=\"Messiah-28-July-2009-003\" width=\"627\" height=\"420\" data-id=\"1911\" \/><\/a>They travel from afar to sing under the direction of John S Davies, currently from Worcester, Gloucester, Reading, Manchester, Aberystwyth, Swansea Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.johnsdaviessingers.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/Christopher-Williams.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[2046]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-2052\" src=\"https:\/\/www.johnsdaviessingers.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/Christopher-Williams-450x477.jpg\" alt=\"Christopher-Williams\" width=\"351\" height=\"372\" data-id=\"2052\" \/><\/a>\n<p>Chris accompanies at rehearsals and concerts with The Singers and his sensitive and hugely accomplished playing is never to be underestimated.<\/p>\n<p>He teaches piano at Cardiff University, is staff accompanist at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and Assistant Music Director and accompanist with the BBC National Chorus of Wales.<\/p>\n<p>As both accompanist and soloist Chris is in constant demand performing in major concert halls across UK, Europe and USA.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The choristers in the John S Davies Singers meet in Cardiff on a monthly basis to rehearse what is always a demanding schedule of music.
